Create file

Uploads a PDF for Create income upload or Create franchise upload to attach, and returns its file_ ID. Send it as multipart/form-data in a field named file. Only PDFs are accepted; the content is checked, not the file name or declared type. Requires API access: Manage and Taxes: Manage.

A file belongs to the company of the key that uploaded it, attaches to one tax record once, and is deleted if nothing attaches it within 24 hours (expires_at). There is no size limit beyond the request limits of the network path.

To upload without multipart (an AI agent connected through the MCP, for example), use Create file upload.
