List splits

Returns the lines of split transactions, newest transaction date first.

A split divides one transaction’s amount into lines, each with its own amount, category, department and spread. GET /transactions lists the split transaction once, at its full amount, with transaction_type: split; its lines are listed here. Each line’s transaction_id is that split transaction, and a split’s lines add up to its amount. Pass transaction_id to list one split’s lines.

Only splits by category have lines. A department split or a payroll bulk split divides a transaction differently and is not listed.

Query Parameters

limit

integer

default:100

Maximum number of results to return (1-500). Defaults to 100.

Required range: 1 <= x <= 500

starting_after

string

Pass the next_cursor from the previous page, unchanged, with the same filters. Rows in this list have no ID, so the cursor is opaque. A cursor this list didn't produce returns 400 invalid_request.

start_date

string<date>

Only rows whose transaction date is on or after this date, YYYY-MM-DD.

end_date

string<date>

Only rows whose transaction date is on or before this date, YYYY-MM-DD.

transaction_id

string

Only the lines of this split transaction. A transaction that isn't split has no lines, so it returns an empty list. An unknown ID returns 404 resource_missing.

spread

true returns only lines with a spread, false only lines without one.
